| It’s almost as if I don’t update anymore. Well here’s my
update for November.
During the first week of November, all I did was study for
biology unit test and math test as well as do my soapstone sculpture of a whale’s
tail. It looks really good, actually. =) I carved it from a stone brick to what
actually looks like a whale’s tale using filing tools, sandpaper to sand it,
then finally polishing it so it looks nice and glossy. Tina’s birthday was on
Monday November 6th… The birthday announcements that I paid for to
go on the P.A didn’t end up getting announced until the next day. >_>
Stupid student council. On Tuesday, it was Daniel Mok’s 17th birthday.Yannick got me all this Baby Cinnamon stuff and waited
for me after school. There were two baby cinnamon plushies, one which was Cinnamoroll
and the other Mocha, a cellphone accessory which was also Cinnamorll, and a
pink Cinnamoroll pillow. They’re SO cute.
Week #2 (Nov. 8-14):
LACK of sleep. I finished my Soapstone sculpture during this week on Friday, so
it actually took me two weeks to do. On Saturday, everyone suggested debate
topics for Chinese school. Edith and I ended up in an argument, and it ended up
pretty bad… but it’s alright now~ Sharon
was like, “Wohh guys, keep it PG!” Nothing much happened this week.
Week #3 (Nov. 15-21):
Kevin E’s 17th birthday was on the 16th of November and
he didn’t act any more mature. Haha~ On Saturday, I went to Chinese School,
then went over to my cousin’s place to do the dress fitting for my bridesmaid
dress that I’m going to wear in December on their Wedding Day ^_^. After that,
I went to AFC iDzone for TC captain training for three hours and saw Daniel
Lin~ I don’t think I knew anyone else there from before besides him. On Sunday,
Mandi celebrated her birthday by renting a huge community centre room where she
had all her little friends come. It seemed like she had fun. Anyways, I
realized I wasn’t in any of the pictures at her party on Sunday, even in the so
called family pictures, because I was the one holding the camera -_-.
Week #4 (Nov. 22-
30): Mandi turned 12 on the 23rd of November. I stayed up on
Wednesday night trying to finish most of my night school homework because I
knew we had to go out for dinner on Thursday for Mandi’s birthday. I basically
had 2 hours of sleep on Wednesday night. I also finished the DECA Newsletter
this week, but it didn’t end up getting printed on the 23rd as
planned, but It’s been approved of and will be printed and published on the 29th
of November, right before the Dufferin-Peel Regionals. I feel like I
accomplished SO much because we finished our first issue of the DECA Newsletter
in basically 3 weeks with the exception of a few extra days (that were used to
change what Mr. Lee didn’t like.) I put so much work in it because I had to
edit the articles and part of the layout as Production Manager and
Editor-In-Chief, but the guys did a fantastic job also. =) Oh, speaking of
DECA, Café Night took place on the 24th. The performances were
awesome. There were fantastic singers (especially Hans, Christina, and some
others) and there were also some outstanding dancers in the Bollywood Fusion. The
theatre/drama stuff was a bit boring, but overall Café Night was really good. It
had a nice atmosphere and the murals that went up and the table centerpieces used
to decorate for Café Night were beautiful. In addition to this week, Sr. Boys
Football Finals was on Thursday, November 23rd against St. Edmund
Campians @ St.
Marcellinus Secondary School. Our cheerleaders were very spirited and everyone
got involved with cheering and waving their “Go Tigers Go!” towels. It was
pretty cool… and Guess what? WE ROCKED FINALS!
We are the Champions, we beat the Campians =)
CONGRATULATIONS STFX SR. BOYS FOOTBALL!
This Thursday’s going to be the big day. DECA Dufferin- Peel
Regionals will take place then at Goetz from 3:00pm-9:30pm. Everyone who’s part
of DECA that’s competing at this regionals competition gets to get off class at
1:15 to change and get ready to go to Goetz. I’m SO excited for it. I haven’t
even practiced my written/roleplays yet, so I DO hope I do well. Besides
studying for that, I need to study for my biology unit test, which is retarded
because our Bio teacher won’t move it to Monday. Xavier’s going to bring home
the DECA Regionals Trophy. Just watch us.
